These Nestle Ultimates Chocolate Chip Lover cookies are soooo yummy you wouldn’t know they weren’t homemade.

I remember when I was a child I’d spend the weekend with my cousins and we’d bake cookies with my aunt. My aunt would round up all of the kids and have us join her in the kitchen. She’d then go through the cupboards and the refrigerator taking out ingredients and items needed. Once we saw the Nestle chocolate chips we knew we were about to have a treat.

One of us would be responsible for adding the flour, another the eggs, another the butter, and so forth. We’d lick the spoon and bowl while waiting for the cookies to bake. In the end we’d have a platter full of warm and gooey chocolate chips cookies to enjoy.

Those were the days….I miss those days. I’ve been so busy with life I forgot how precious those little moments could be.

I get to see my nieces and nephew every once in awhile and I thought…hmmmm the next time I see the kids we’ll bake cookies. My kitchen is tiny so I didn’t want to go the ‘homemade’ route, and store-bought cookie dough has come a long way taste wise.

I LOVE (when I say LOVE, I mean LOVVVEEE) chocolate chip cookies. So when I found the Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough in the refrigerated section of the grocery store I did a happy dance.

The cookie dough was already prepped and cut, all the kids had to do was put the cookies on a cookie sheet. Making the cookies was so easy I almost felt guilty for not giving them manual ‘cookie making’ labor, plus there was no bowl to lick afterwards and no messy dishes to clean.

I simply preheated my oven to 350 degrees, let the kids place the pre cut dough on the cookie sheet, and baked the cookies for about 13 minutes. After popping the cookies out of the oven I let them cool for about 2 minutes and me and the kids dug in.
