Soooooo…I’m “Finally” a college graduate.

And now that school is over…I’m also awarded the responsibility of paying back those student loans (long sigh). I’m thankful, though, that I’ve found the cheapest wireless plans to save money on my mobile phone, and gifted myself for graduation by switching to Walmart Best Plans.

May 16th 2014, I walked across the stage and received my Bachelors of Art Degree in Communication Studies.

Besides the fact that it took me 11 years to get a 4 year degree, I’m finally here, I’ve made it, and I can’t lie…IT FEELS GOOD!

I wouldn’t change my life process for anything. Throughout my journey I have encountered some of the most amazing people. I was able to join the military and serve my country. I was able to travel the world. I was afforded the opportunity to go back to school, and now that school is over I have to save every last penny I can while searching for a career.

Let the job search begin…

I know pretty soon Uncle Sam will be knocking at the door for me to start paying back on my student loans. Therefore in addition to picking back up on couponing while job searching. I’ve also switched to the lowest priced unlimited plans Walmart Family Mobile offers.

So, I made my way to Walmart to get the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit phone, because I needed something thats lightweight and has all of the major smartphone functions. The phone has a 5MP Camera with a LED Flash (perfect for selfies), has Text, IM & Picture Messaging, and is 4G capable.

My plan also has unlimited talk text data/web, which will come in handy during all of the phone interviews (I expect to have, hopefully  😉 ), plus I’ll be able to stay in contact with my fellow classmates as we go our separate ways with unlimited talk.

Not to mention, I’ll also be able to keep up with everyone  on social media with apps downloaded on my phone like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, you just can’t get rid of them.

Phone activation is simple and can be done three ways, either at the store, by phone, or online. I opted to activate my phone online. It took about two minutes and I was ready to roll.

bathroom selfies

Yes, I took bathroom selfless at the graduation….

If I would have turned my phone to the right a little you’d see all of the grads lined up in the mirror doing the same. I hadn’t even thought to take one, but after walking into the restroom I saw everyone doing it, so I figured, hmmm I might as well take at least one. The Samsung Galaxy Exhibit takes good photos huh?

waiting to line up with classmates

It hasn’t set in yet, but I have a feeling I’m going to miss my classmates, my professors, and all of the cram study sessions, all nighters, and last minute assignment submittals. #FamilyMobile #CollectiveBias
