I told myself I was going to start posting items that you can purchase for the lowest prices this upcoming year. Then I thought, “Well, I might as well start today.” So here is what to buy in December.
I’ll be providing a list each month of items that you can stockpile, and get at rock bottom prices.
This month you should check out clearance sections at all stores for marked down Thanksgiving decorations, place settings, table decor, dishware, and carving products that are thanksgiving holiday themed. By now, most of these products will be marked down by 50% or more. If you still find anything closer to the end of the month the items will be marked down by up to 90% off.
Batteries will be at an all time low, stock up if you use a lot of batteries, they last for years.
National Hot Cocoa and National Egg Nog Days fall in the month of December which means you’ll be able to stock up on cheap hot cocoa and egg nog, match it with a coupon for even better prices. Marshmallows are also deeply discounted around this time of the year.
Deli Platters will be affordable (Holiday party anyone?). Most food items from Thanksgiving holiday will be on sale throughout the month. Example, gravy packets, frozen pies and crust, cranberry sauce, broths, condensed and evaporated milks, sugar, flour, butter, cake mixes, brownie mixes, muffin mixes, whipped cream.
Nuts, soups, canned vegetables, canned fruits, spaghetti sauce, and chili beans (variety of canned beans), are also low priced.
Seasonal fresh produce is at affordable prices, apples, oranges, lemons, pomegranates, beets, brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, celery, cranberries, kiwis, pears, broccoli, potatoes, squash, and yams are all up for grabs this month.
Get your coupons ready and take advantage of those sales. Next month I’ll tell you what to stock up on in January.
