When I first started blogging I had no idea how many blogs existed in the blogging sphere. Everyday I’m discovering a new “favorite blog,” favorite YouTuber, favorite pinner, and an awesome Instagram page.
One thing that is close to my heart is my African American bloggers. I’m not able to list them all, but here are a few African American Bloggers you need to know:

I haven’t found a beauty blogger that I truly love, but I’m still searching because I’m just now starting to get into this beauty thing. I’ve usually kept it simple my entire life, but now I want to learn to glam up a little. If you know anyone please comment below.
Nicole from So Haute Style: Nicole is an interior designer who’s designs make you want to stay on her blog all day, or get in your car and spend all of your cash on items you saw. On So Haute Design you’ll find tips on decorating, entertaining, style, and more. My favorite makeover is this tiny apartment in New York.
Carmen from Simply Carmen Renee: Carmen is a Miami based blogger who blogs about beauty, fashion, style, DIY projects, decor, travel and more. My favorite post is this tutorial for making “DIY Kate Spade Inspired Mugs.”
Tanesha from Girl With Curves: Girl With Curves is an award-winning website that has outfit inspiration, beauty tutorials, styling tips, and a glimpse into Tanesha’s lifestyle as a wife, mother and top fashion influencer for plus sized women.
MarC from Hang Tight With MarC: MarC is a certified personal trainer in the Atlanta area. Her website has tons of free workout videos that you can do in your living room. You can go from never working out into top fit shape with her videos. MarC has workouts from beginner to advanced. Plus she’s Natural.
Mandy from Chewsy Lovers: Mandy and her husband are both chefs who met in culinary school. Together they whip up amazing recipes for their blog Chewsy Lovers. I can’t wait to try this Sweet Rosemary Salmon recipe they created.
Wendy and Jess from Food Heaven Made Easy: Wendy and Jess are both Registered Dietician’s and hold Masters of Nutritional Science. They focus on cooking healthy, nutritional, and affordable plant based foods that are delicious. My favorite recipe is the “Stuffed Ranchero Sweet Potatoes,” OMG, it’s soooooo delicious!
Amiyrah from 4 Hats and Frugal: Amiyrah is from New Jersey, and blogs about being a mom, a wife, food, and being frugal. She is also an Airman in the US Air Force, and a lover of Nutella and all things Star Wars. On 4 Hats and Frugal you’ll find a variety of content to choose from including having a “Financial Mindset” and her “Grocery Challenge.”
Tatanisha from A Mitten Full Of Savings: Tatanisha is a mom of three in the Michigan area. She teaches tips for saving and blogs about life as a mom, wife, and mother to children with special needs. On her blog you can check out the “52 Week Savings Challenge” where each week has another way to save.
Ericka from Ericka Saves, (yes, I put myself): At Ericka Saves you find ways to save money, budget friendly recipes, DIY projects, affordable travel and more. I also, blog about my frugal journey, and my boyfriend, dog, and nieces and nephew join me on the blog time to time.
Natasha from Houseful of Nicholes: Mrs. Nicholes is a married mom of four. You’ll find something for the entire family on this site. She blogs about sewing, cooking, travel, and trying new things. She once made these homemade bread bowls that look so delicious, I can’t wait to try them!
Brandi from Mama Knows It All: Brandi, is a mom blogger, that lives in Oakland, CA with her adorable daughter and husband. She authentically blogs about life as it happens in her world. Great for mommy advice, relationship advice, and good reads. My favorite post is, “25 Things I Want My Black Daughter To Know.”
Mellissa from She Smiles Within: Mellissa’s goal is to “Help Women Have Happy Lives.” She has an inspirational message for everyone with her blog “She Smiles Within.” Find everything from dating, to “Living Authentically” on this site.
Lanee from One Parent Wonder: Lanee is an awesome writer. She get’s you lost in her words. You can literally continue to read post after post. Lanee blogs about her journey in life, some of those things are: growing up parentless, being a single mother while in college, baby daddy drama. She tells you how she survived, and teaches you how to survive. One Parent Wonder is definitely a “must read.”
Whitney from Naptural85: I have no idea what my hair type is. But out of all of the websites I’ve viewed and videos I’ve watched, my hair texture seems to be similar to Whitney’s. I love her personality and tips. She produces videos showing how to make DIY hair and body products. She also tries out new natural products and does natural hairstyles tutorials.
Nadeen from The Sophisticated Life: Nadeen is pediatrician and loves to travel. She’s a globetrotter, foodie, wine enthusiast, and lover of the music and arts. Her travel blog makes you want to pack up and leave to travel the world immediately. One of my favorite posts is her trip to Italy.
Peaches Plum: Peaches Plum is my new travel blog. Peaches Plum is my nickname given to me by my late grandma who always dreamed of travelling the world but never got the chance.
